New UFO Sighting Reported In Stephenville Texas

Are there UFOs in the skies above Texas?

The truth may be out there, but, when it comes to UFO stories, it is sure hard to find. Conjecture breeds conspiracy theories. Any official denial can be labeled a cover-up. In the end, it often boils down to a he-said-she-said scenario.

Such is the case in Stephenville, Texas, a small, rural community thrust into the spotlight after several unexplained disturbances in January. Though that spotlight has now faded, the town remains altered. Some members of the community want to move on; others cannot let go. And some, if you believe them, say that UFOs are still there.

According to Angelia Joiner, the reporter who wrote the original UFO stories, there was another UFO sighting on Saturday. “If the military is testing a secret military device, why do they keep doing it here?” she asked me. “If it’s not a secret why do they keep scaring the bejesus out of people?”

Adding a further wrinkle to this story, Joiner was fired from The Empire-Tribune a week ago. She claims she had been told to back off the story and thinks the town’s “upper crust” was “embarrassed” by all the attention. The Empire-Tribune has avoided comment, which of course only fans the flames of the conspiracy theories.

For its part, the military has done itself no favors, first denying that it had any aircraft in the area, then flip-flopping a few days later — after more witnesses came forward. A spokesperson blamed internal miscommunication for the mix-up. Others, including CNN’s Larry King, have asked whether it wasn’t a cover-up.

But who can we believe? The truth remains unidentified.

UK UFO spotted by Warwickshire Couple

Written by

STRANGE sightings of a spinning orange object shooting from the sky have been reported by a shocked Warwickshire England couple.

Terrified Cliff and Carol Sheldon say the flashing orange mass nearly smashed into their car in Bubbenhall on Monday night.

They say it was cylindrical in shape, and about half the size of their Vauxhall Corsa.

The down-to-earth couple from Stretton-on-Dunsmore say they have always been sceptical about UFOs.

But the grandparents of-five are in no doubt about what they saw.

Their claims have been backed by a Warwick University professor with an interest in UFOs. He said they may have seen a meteorite, also known as a shooting star.

Cliff, aged 63, who has recently retired from his garage business, Manhattan Motors in Earlsdon, Coventry, said: “I just saw a great big thing spinning round with lights on.

“Carol was panicking saying: ‘That might explode - go, go, go’.

“It was a clear night and I thought ‘blinkin’ ‘eck, what’s that?’ It could have been something burning. There is no doubt that it was real, and we are genuine.”

Carol, aged 58, described a flat round structure ‘like a giant dinner plate’ that was flashing orange.

She said: “I put my fingers in my ear and thought it was going to explode. We were both terrified and shocked.

“It was moving very fast and we thought it was going to hit the car. It looked like it must have come down in the fields nearby.

“We reported it to the police although I don’t suppose they believed us. But there is no way you could make something up like that.”

Their UFO sighting was at 9pm on Stoneleigh Road in Bubbenhall, though nearby Coventry Airport reported “nothing untoward” on the night in question.

But Dr Jack Cohen, a professor and scientist from Warwick University who researches UFOs, said: “It’s more likely to be a meteorite than a flying saucer. My guess is there are two or three a day coming down in England.

“It’s not unreasonable that one could have come down close to someone.”

UK UFO’s Did you Spot It?

Written by

DID you spot something strange above the Bridlington England last Tuesday night?
David Hinde did and he wants to know if he is alone in witnessing two glowing red and orange balls in the sky.

He was travelling from a musical theatre group in Malton to his home in Bempton when he saw what he believes could be a UFO.

“As I apporached the Dotterel junction at about 10.45pm I could see in the distance, on the right-hand side, two glowing spherical objects, orange and red.

“I continued watching them and they were moving independently, diagonally, up and down and sideways, both quite close together.

“I pulled up just before Buckton and got out of the car and watched them for five or 10 minutes.

“It looked like they were at the back of the Honeypot Inn. They were distant but I could still see how they were moving.

“They didn’t look like an aircraft I’ve seen before. The movements were too irrational compared to planes. I thought it was strange,” said Mr Hinde, 50.

He tried to think of a rational explanation for what he had seen but nothing seemed to fit the bill. “I’ve always been interested in things like this and I have seen TV programmes but I’ve got no specific interest. I’m just intrigued.

“You hear from time to time that Filey Bay is supposed to be a hot spot but I have never seen anything before.

“It was a very clear sky last Tuesday and you could see the stars but you don’t usually see something glowing orange and red,” added Mr Hinde.

And his sighting has been backed up by a similar claim by a teenager from the Whitby area.

He saw something similar the night before Mr Hinde’s observation.

Steven Dye, 18, who lives in Staithes, said he saw the phenomenon as he was driving at around 8pm last Monday.

He said: “I saw something floating in between Staithes and Hinderwell from where I was looking.

“It had about eight lights, red and orange coloured, and it just stayed in the same place for about 10 or 20 seconds before fading away.

“It is the first time I have seen something like that. I told my mam and we went back down there later on but there was nothing there.”
